I think the condition of my desk represents my life pretty well right now. In one big messy pile right now are invoices and acknowledgements for work, Eric's notes from office work yesterday, art supplies from making Riley's birthday invitations yesterday, Wiggles tickets for August, and scribbled notes of people I need to get in touch with before the end of the week. Not to mention one of Riley's DVD's, a Toy Story doll, and one of my old SheDaisy CDs. Becky and I have been talking a lot lately about the challenges of the whole work from home/stay at home mom thing. We both tackle this every day. But, the only conclusion we've come to is that it's worth it. So, it's a choice every morning to wake up, take on a new day, relax about the small stuff, and enjoy life. That's what we'll do today.
Yesterday was a little scary. Riley had been complaining about severe headaches for about 12 hours and was running a fever. I called the doctor and they were concerned, which made me even more concerned. But, he just has a virus. The doctor said his fever could last up to four days, but he seems fine as long as we keep tylenol in him.
We're all excited for this weekend--Rachel and Gabe are getting married on Saturday! Riley is the ring bearer and he can't wait. We'll see if he's still excited about it with all those people in the church.
I was reading some of your archives and noticed that you had posted part of the lyrics to a song by The Martins called Because God's Good. Is there any way you could post the complete song. I'm supposed to be learning it for church and I lost my lyrics and can't find anywhere else that has them. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
