Today Jen, my mom and I took Riley, Trey and Micah to Easton. The Mouse from "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" made an appearance at Barnes and Noble. Mouse even brought cookies to share. Riley announced to the crowd that cookies were not a healthy choice, but then decided to eat one anyway. We took the boys out for pizza and then to the park.
It seems as though summer is going so fast. The first half of the summer has been pretty relaxing--pool, zoo, park. We have quite a few big things we still want to do this summer and I'm trying to get it all planned because it seems like the summer weeks are slipping away from us. I'm really excited about a trip we are going to be taking to Cleveland. Eric and I are taking the boys to the Western Reserve Historical Society for the "Where the Wild Things Are: Maurice Sendak in His Own Words and Pictures" exhibit. Riley loves Maurice Sendak books and is so excited about the trip.
Eric brought back a good report after he went to visit Palmer today. That's the best news of the day.
