It's quiet. Riley is at school and Trey is asleep. I'm going to get some work done, but I need to just sit a minute first. The morning was hectic. Jen and Eric both had to be at work crazy early so it was just me and the boys. Riley has been reading "Pancake, Pancake" by Eric Carle from the library so this morning he wanted pancakes with strawberry jam instead of cereal so he could be like Jack in the book. He wanted to act out the entire book and corrected me when I "missed a page." Cereal is a heck of a lot easier to make for breakfast than whole wheat pancakes, but he's so cute and I figured it was educational. Anyway-the point is that it made for a rather hectic morning and rushing off to school.
Everyone else seems to be blogging about the election. I can't bring myself to because I'm so confused. I voted but I still don't know if I will in the next election. I wrestle constantly in my head with what I believe. So, I guess I've got another four years to think. I would like to link you to Chris Dilbone's blog, but I'm lazy. So instead just go to my husband's blog and link to Dilbone's blog from there. He summarized a lot of my thoughts.
