A big day yesterday...
Eric got four free tickets to see Polar Express at Easton. Eric, Jen, and I took Riley. It was so incredibly cool. The animation was crazy. It freaked me out a little. Riley was a little freaked out too, but everything was fine as soon a Santa appeared. The Christmas season has now officially started at the Stetler house. Our beautiful friend Kelli watched Trey for us at the last minute. Getting to know Kelli over this last year has really been fun.
Palmer and Amy are married! It was a beautiful ceremony with beautiful friends. I'm so thankful for my community. We have few things that are stable and secure in our lives right now, but Landing Place is a group of people I know I can depend on.
Good night, good cake, good conversation, and even good wine.
Unfortunately, I can't get Trey well. The little guy started running a fever last night and is not a happy baby. It's been three weeks since the first ear ache hit and this needs to end. Pray for my baby.

I believe that only God can make a judgment about whether or not George Bush is a Christian man.

I do not like war, however I am realistic about what is going on in our world.

I believe that many fewer children have died in Irag since the war began than before. I believe that many incredible abuses of women and children and others were taking place before we returned to war in Iraq. I am proud specifically of two things:

Dictators in other countries like Libya have ceased the abuse of their citizens specifically because of the war in Iraq. I also feel that now the Iraqi people can chat and share discussion and opinions as we are doing without fear of death. That's my reverence for life. It's the BIGGER picture.

I apologize if my comment on Dilbone's blog came across as sharp. That wasn't my intent, but I was interested to know your response to my question. I do not claim to have any answers. Like I said on my previous comment, I'm doing a lot of thinking right now. Trying to think on my own, all new thoughts, but no answers. I think you have valid points, points that have been expressed by other important people in my life as well. But, I still struggle with this war and reconciling it with Christ's message of peace.
In regards to President Bush, I'm not trying to say that he isn't a believer. I don't know if he is or not. But, my point was that just because he says he follows Christ doesn't mean that I have to agree with his foreign or domestic policies.

Thanks for your comment Kerri, I agree that these times require much thoughts and prayer. I appreciate that all of us are able to express our opinions and thoughts to one another.
Continue to pray, I truly believe that it will take Christ's coming back to deliver peace to our world.

I hope that Trey is feeling better,
Anna
