Yesterday was probably my favorite day of the summer so far. After church and lunch we left to spend the afternoon at the Honey Run waterfall. The boys went often with Eric last summer, but I always stayed home with Cora. This year she is old enough to join in on the fun. It is breath taking and once again I was amazed at the beauty of Knox County. This was only a short 10 minute drive from our house. The Kokosing River is very deep in this part of the river and the boys spent the afternoon jumping off large rocks into the river with their dad. Cora was up to her nose in river water and loved every minute of it. She sat under the waterfall for probably 30 minutes, just mesmerized by the movement of the water. It's the most still she's been in weeks! We were home by 6pm with tired bodies and hungry bellies from all the activity. When you've spent the day in the water, dinner tastes extra good...especially when it's an awesome new hot sub recipe.

There was only one problem...we are still so stinking tired today!!! Oh well, it was so worth it.
