We've made it to the end of back to school week. It was busy with the kids going back to school and the students returning to campus at the same time. But, we've made it and it's been a good week.

The boys really like their teachers and have settled back into their routines quickly. Evan is happy to be back in his preschool classroom and told me on the ride home after the first day that because he is the only five year old, he is the king of the class. He also told Ms. Michelle that he went to Shitauqua (Chautauqua) for vacation. Awesome.

I went to the parent meeting with Trey's teacher. Wow. I've never met a teacher quite like Ms. Waugh. Her love for teaching overflows out of her every time she speaks. Her classroom is super organized and fun. Trey is going to have a great year in her classroom. I've only met Riley's teacher once, but I really like what he's saying at home. Her parent meeting is scheduled for this coming Tuesday and I'm looking forward to learning more about her classroom.

If there was a preschool classroom for 18 month old little girls, I may send Cora a couple of mornings a week! Just kidding...kind of. She is exhausting and never still for more than 30 seconds. She loves to read and her favorite book right now is Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown. She loves to have our undivided attention and to make us laugh.
