Vacation was AMAZING. I came home feeling super relaxed and rested. I came home feeling so blessed to have Eric as my husband and so thankful for my children. We needed this time alone together.
Highlights...
Riley and Trey were able to get up on water skis for the first time.
Evan went tubing.
Taking the boat to the middle of the lake and swimming for the entire afternoon.
Cora loved the boat, the lake, and her pink life jacket.
Dinner at the Red Line drive in, complete with waitress on roller skates.
Finished the second Harry Potter book with Riley...LOVED it!
Riley's 10th birthday. I really can't believe that my oldest is now 10 years old. He's an awesome kid that loves his family. We love him so much, he is a gift.
Watching them ride the rides at Midway
Best meal I've had in a long time with my husband at the Italian Fisherman. Sat outside by the lake on a beautiful evening watching the boats and Friday night fun at Beamus Point. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Pop Pop for coming up for the day to watch our kids. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 13th anniversary. Let me just add that Pop Pop took all four kids out to dinner, then out for ice cream, then brought them home and put them to bed by himself. We came home from our perfect date to a quiet and clean cottage. WOW!
The weather was great...70's and mostly sunny. We finished up vacation with Chick Fil A and Krispy Kremes in Erie on the drive home. A perfect end to a great vacation.
Now it's time to get ready for school.
