Evan lives in a make believe world. He is constantly pretending he is a super hero fighting a bad guy. He's got a new favorite super hero, God. The boy is obsessed with all things Biblical. It's a little odd and sometimes disturbing. We found him recently hiding all of his body, except his head, in the white curtains. The curtains were clouds, he was God. He yelled out from the clouds, "Hey Trey, I'll be God, you be Moses." Forget Batman and Robin, Evan's found the true source of power and Moses is his favorite side kick.
Last night I found him hiding under an empty plastic tote. He was pretending he was Jesus in a tomb. He jumped out and yelled, "In all His glory!". Like I said, it can be a little disturbing. I told Eric that we may have a future televangelist on our hands. I really have no idea how that kid's mind works.
Cora likes to wear her sunglasses. She loves jewelry and purses. These are not things she has learned from me. Her and her Nana are kindred spirits.
Riley and Trey are doing fine. Trey's begging for a dog. 30 chickens arrive Friday. Why in the world would I ever buy a dog. They are both really ready for school to be out for the summer. Should be a great summer...basketball camp for both boys, VBS at church, the beach, a week at the cottage, and the pool. I'm really hoping to work a Cedar Point trip with Eric, Jen and Riley in there as well!
