My baby girl is nine months old. She is a beautiful gift to our family...a surprise from God. We are so thankful for the blessing He has given us in Cora Jean.

She is still such a happy little girl and still as crazy as ever. She is into EVERYTHING and most days we struggle to stay a step ahead of her. She is full of energy and can move fast. She has just started waving and is really trying to interact with the rest of the family. She loves to read books and get into her brothers toys. She has very little interest in most of her own stuff, just wants to tear up things that belong to the boys. She STILL doesn't sleep well, but I've just decided to not care about it right now. She is a eating machine, especially after 3 pm. We can't get her full in the evenings. She's eating a lot of table food now and still likes the baby food I make. I made her lentils for the first time this week and she loves them. She had cheese for the first time yesterday and she was a big fan of that. The only thing she will not eat is egg yolks. I've tried them scrambled and hard boiled, but she just refuses to eat them. Maybe she'll like them better when she's old enough to add the egg white. I'd say her very favorite food is grapes, peeled and quartered. They are a lot of work to prepare for her, but the look on her face when she eats them makes it worth the added effort. She has eight teeth! She cut five teeth at the same time which made for a rough week with a lot of crying, a runny nose, and a nasty diaper rash. She's feeling much better now that they are all the through.

Love her.
