It feels like Christmas morning. We've been waiting for this day for a long time now.
Trey, Evan and I have been making some friends at the Franklinton library. Riley's t-ball practice is 90 minutes long, way too long for a three year old and one year old to watch. We usually come back for the last 30 minutes and spend the first hour looking for things to do in the neighborhood. The same kids are at the library every time we go. Two little girls have already stolen my heart. Divena and Deveana, they are sisters. Eric and I have noticed that much of the "ministry" to be done in Franklinton simply requires being present.
So, after today we will be able to be truly present, no longer returning to our apartment in Grandview after t-ball or watering the gardens. I'm very excited, and to be honest, very nervous. Not nervous been I'm fearful or scared, but because of the unknown of a new place. Franklinton is not just a new place, but a new culture as well. I've been praying a lot lately.
Come visit us.
I am so excited for you and what the future holds. Can you believe it?!
