Evan is 11 months old. He has 10 teeth. Two molars just came in and I think that is why he's been so fussy and had the runny nose. Thank you for praying. He seems to be doing great now. He is very fast and hard for me to keep up with. He's really fast up the stairs. He takes off for them as soon as you turn your back for a minute. Just when I thought we had enough baby gates...His birthday will be here before we know it. We're having a Wiggles party at Nana's house because we will be in the middle of moving.

Riley only has one week left of preschool. There was an end of the year letter from the director of his preschool in his back pack yesterday. I stood in the parking lot crying as I read this...

"Many thanks for all your child has taught us at Boulevard about what matters in life, and the precious times we have shared. May you be blessed, as I have been to have the joy of laughter, smiles and hugs. The most important advice I can give you as a parent is this: take the time to enjoy your child, stop racing from one activity to another. Stop! Listen to what they have to say; always be there for them even when they say they don't want you around; know their friends; learn from them; play with them, and let them energize your day. Just imagine what it feels like to look forward to each day as an adventure waiting to be discovered as they do. What a precious gift they are."

It really seems like just yesterday that Riley started at Boulevard. He's been there for three years now. He started just two mornings a week, then three mornings a week, and this year 5 mornings. His kindergarten readiness class has been amazing. He has grown and changed so much this year. His teacher has been wonderful. She has taken her responsibility of getting Riley ready for kindergarten very seriously. Her classroom was filled with love, patience, and the structure little five year old boys need. I pray his experience next year is what he needs as well. He is a beautiful child. I wish I could make everything slow down a bit, press the pause button this summer. I really don't know how to get ready for him being in kindergarten all day next year.

Trey is begging for a game on the front porch, and of course a snack! I think I'll take some time to enjoy my three year old now...

Thanks for sharing the note from Riley's school. It has once again reminded me to stop and enjoy life's simple moments. Life can get too hectic at times. Our boys are growing up fast.
I am glad to hear that Evan is feeling better.
You are an amazing mother.
I am sure that Riley will do wonderful in Kindergarten next year. I was just thinking how blessed I have been to have two wonderful teachers in Ethan's Pre-K and now Kindergarten. I couldn't have picked better ones. I realize it is far from luck but God's hand placing Ethan where he needed to be and I am sure that God's hand will place the right teacher and the right classmates with Riley next year.
Love you,
Becky
