Trey gave me the stomach flu. Luckily it's quick, but it sure wasn't fun. Pregnancy and the stomach flu is a really bad combination. Hoping today everything is back to normal and everyone else in our house stays healthy.
And today--12 weeks pregnant. The risk of miscarriage is greatly reduced at 12 weeks, so it's always a huge relief to make it to this point. This is also the point during pregnancy where nausea begins to decrease, so hopefully now that the stomach flu is over as well, I'll start feeling more like myself again.

By this point, nearly all of the organs and structures of the fetus are formed. They will continue to grow and develop until delivery. Fingers and toes have separated and hair and nails begin to grow. The genitals begin to take on their gender characteristics. Amniotic fluid begins to accumulate as the baby's kidneys begin to produce and excrete urine. The muscles in the intestinal walls begin to practice peristalsis - contractions within the intestines that digest food.

Kelly Ann--I'm glad you weren't here to take care of Trey, I wouldn't want you sick. But, now that we are all healthy it sure would be nice if you and Curtis would hurry home!
