It's 7:30. Trey is asleep and Eric is putting Riley to bed. I feel like I've run a marathon (not that I've ever actually done that). Today has been one of those days where I've had so many roles to fill and I don't think I've done a very good job at any of them. Not that it has been a bad day necessarily, just a little hectic.
Overall, it's been a pretty calm week at the Stetler house. Highlights--a date with Eric on Monday. Dinner and a movie. --church on Tuesday, I like our small church, genuine and authentic expression of our faith. --Phase 10 on the front porch late into the night on Wednesday with Eric. Could have been the closest game of Phase 10 ever, he won. --and tomorrow morning our dining room table will finally arrive. it's been on back order since April. The card tables will be returned to their home in the basement.
Tomorrow Trey Ryan will be seven months old. Hard to believe he's this big already. He's developed his own method of crawling. He scoots like a catapillar, hard to explain. Point is that he can get into a lot more now and I'm having trouble adjusting. He's a wild man. Riley gets his cast off in a week and has been planning his third birthday party all week.
That's pretty much the extent of life here. A lot of people have a more exciting life than I do, but I wouldn't trade places with any of them. Eric and the boys bring a huge amount of joy to my days, even hectic days like today.
I can't believe he beat you. I'm sure it was one of those times that you just let him win to make him feel better...:)
