After a morning of work and Riley roaming around the apartment aimlessly, the boys and I headed for Easton. It was a very good choice and it felt great to get out of the apartment for the afternoon. This is the third summer we've been taking Riley to play in the fountains at Easton. He can be really shy in situations like this, and he has been the last two years at the fountain. It's amazing how much he has changed this past year. After just a little coaxing he decided to join right in with the other kids. He had so much fun. He looked so cute in his new swim trunks, I got great pictures. Afterwards we went to the McDonalds playground and Riley talked me into staying for dinner. His new word this week has been "wumberful." As we left Easton today he said, "Mommy, this was wumberful." He got a milkshake for being so cute. He also spent a lot of time today with his imaginary friend, Jesus. When we got home I sent him upstairs to get ready for his bath. He climbed to the top of the stairs and patiently waited for his friend Jesus to get up to the top too. Then he told Jesus that he did a good job. Trey just loves to hang out with the two of us. He smiled all day between napping in the sun. He is extremely laid back, unlike Riley and I. He reminds me of his daddy already.
