Riley learned how to play his first board game today. Nana got him Barnyard Bingo by Fisher Price at a garage sale for a dollar. He loved it. It's a great first game, he caught on quickly. He beat Nana's six year old neighbor so many times that the little boy refused to play anymore.
Tomorrow night is church. My friend Tami was going to go with me but now she can't. So, I'm going by myself with the boys. For some reason it's a big deal for me to do that. I guess because Eric knows everyone there much better than I do. I need it though, so I'm going, and I'm looking forward to it. My friend Katie, who is Catholic, talks about her need to celebrate the Eucharist. I always enjoyed taking communion once a month at my home church, but never "needed" it as she describes. I experienced Lent in a new way this spring and now I understand her language. That is what I am looking forward to the most at church tomorrow.
Wednesday night I'm churching with the Gahanna crew. I miss them and am excited to see them.
