5:00 am-- my dad left with my brother. They drove to Indiana so my brother could begin serving his sentence.

6:30 am-- my boys wake up, two of them exceptionally grumpy and needy.

9:00 am--realize we forgot to do Riley's homework and it's time for him to leave for school.

9:30 am--argue with Eric

9:45 am--leave to meet my mom at the mall and the heaviness of my brother's situation hits me like a done of bricks. I cry for the entire 20 minute drive.

Noon--talk with my dad on the phone. The judge was not so sure my brother should get off so easy, but after some deliberation decided to accept his plea. This would explain the heavy feeling in the car, all the crying, and praying I did in my van for my brother.

1:30--Eric calls home to tell me he is at the ER. He has mangled his hand with an electric weed wacker.

3:00--Eric's mom calls to tell me he's all stitched up and he'll be home soon.

5:00--Eric's mom calls to tell me that an x-ray revealed he had hit bone and the surgeon was coming to take a look.

I've had better days. I'm tired. I have a Bible lesson prepared for my boys tonight. Ironically it is from Matthew 6:25...do not worry.
