Around 3:00 yesterday I drove past the elementary school on my way to pick up Evan from preschool. Sitting on the playground was a life flight helicopter and several ambulances. I immediately felt like I was going to vomit. I knew my boys were fine, I hadn't received a phone call from the school...but what had they seen, what had happened to one of their friends.
One of Trey's classmates fell off a piece of playground equipment. He was awake, but according to the boys, unable to move.
Our hearts are heavy this morning. We haven't heard anything else. Eric spent two years at Dodd Hall working with neck and back injuries, so we are all too aware of the possibilities. We have been praying as a family since we arrived back home yesterday and we are asking you to pray with us for this little boy and his family.
