We love toys and games at our house.  Truth be told, I'm a little OCD when it comes to our toys.  I have been known to spend hours searching for a missing lego piece or a game card. I love to organize the toys and then reorganize them.  We try to be really selective and research toys before we buy them or ask someone else for them as a gift, and then we really use them.  All my kids enjoy their toys, especially in the winter.  All that to say, my dream job is to review toys and games!

So, although no one is paying me...or may care one bit about my opinion...here is my first review:

TRIO BLOCKS SUCK

Riley and I are working on a huge Harry Potter lego set, HUGE.  We were able to easily complete an entire bag in 20 minutes.  Then Evan asked me to help him with Trio blocks and my first thought was, "Nooooo, anything but Trio blocks."  But, I found some inner strength (all that yoga is paying off) and set out on a new Batcave configuration.  We bought Trio blocks because they were advertised as building sets for preschoolers.  Evan is always so jealous of his brothers' legos, so we thought Trio blocks were the perfect solutions.  Show me just one preschooler who could EVER snap Trio blocks together.  It took me 45 minutes to assemble, and I only swore under my breath once.  Fisher-Price, you've seriously let me down, and I'm a big Fisher-Price fan.

To give them a bit of credit though...Imaginext toys by Fisher-Price are amazing!
