I was watching some of the CMAs with my boys a couple of weeks ago and there were a few times I said to myself, "Wow, they need to tone this down if I'm going to be able to let my kids watch it."  I've felt that way often as their little lives come into contact with our culture.  Radio, tv, movies, superheros, celebrities, sports stars...all of it.  Sometimes it just needs to be toned down to be kid and family friendly.

I just finished watching Tim Tebow mic'd during the overtime win against the Bears on you tube.  The first commenter said that Tebow needs to tone it down.  Really?  Not in this mom's opinion.  Tebow said at one point, "Win or lose...Lord I need your strength to honor you either way."  Isn't that what I want to teach my kids. The sports world is FULL of awful examples...cheating, abuse, greed, and so much more.  My kids love sports and love to watch it on tv.  This mom is now a Broncos fan.

So, this morning when Evan saw that Sports Center was on, he ran to the tv and said, "I have to see if they are going to talk about Tebow.  I love that guy."  And that made me smile.
