Yesterday when I picked Evan up from preschool a really cool storm was coming. As we pulled out of the parking lot it started to hail. I explained to Evan that the little balls hitting the window were called hail. He was quiet for a few seconds and then said, "Like the place bad guys go instead of heaven." I decided not to correct him, but I did ask where he had heard about "hail" since we haven't talked about Hell with the kids before. He said, "In Star Wars Hans Solo says to the bad guy that he'll see him in Hail." Little dude is funny.

This morning the boys found my hiding place for Christmas presents. Luckily I haven't purchased that much yet. I told them they better not even think about looking for my new hiding spot or the gifts were getting returned. Riley promised not to look and then said, "At least the spot you hid them in this year was better your spot you hid them in last year." Apparently, I'm not as tricky as I'd like to think.

Speaking of Christmas...thank you Dave Ramsey. We are a bit strapped financially, but because I have been putting a little bit away each month in the cash box for Christmas, I have the money I need for gifts this year. Less fights and more peace this Christmas at our house! I know Dave Ramsey can be a little abrasive and I rarely agree with him politically...but he knows his stuff when you need help organizing your family's finances!
