I have spent the better part of 6 hours looking for my keys. I gave them to Cora in a moment of weakness yesterday. One of the desperate moments when a mom will do anything just to have a little bit of quiet. I have looked EVERYWHERE. So, a new key will be made for a mere $175. Frustrating to say the least.
At 5:30 the phone rang...Trey answered. They asked for me or Eric, Trey gave the phone to Eric. Eric didn't hear anyone, didn't recognize the number...gave the phone back to Trey. Trey brings the phone to me while I'm cleaning poop out of the bathtub with a naked, wet toddler on the run. I'm yelling..."why didn't you bring me the phone earlier, that was probably the locksmith." I look down and see that the phone has not been hung up...I say "hello", really hoping no one answers. It wasn't the locksmith, it was the Kenyon basketball coach calling to tell us that Riley had made the travel team. Awesome...good first impression.
SO, practices start Tuesday. Two practices a week and games on Sundays. I'm really excited for him.
