June was stupid busy and so I decided that July would be lazy. It's been wonderful. My body needs the rest.

We are sleeping in, taking naps, playing games, watching movies, swinging on the swing set, and eating ice cream. Eric had a late night at work so I loaded the kids in the car after an early dinner for an evening at the pool. They are old enough now that the pool can even feel lazy. We made came home for peach cobbler in our jammies and then off to bed. My house is messy and I'm behind on laundry, but I really don't care. I like my lazy July. I know how quickly this changes once school starts, so for now I'm living every moment of summer with my kids and embracing our rare lazy days of summer.

Here's the only problem. I'm not running because the pneumonia...not an excuse, I simply can't run yet...especially in this heat. That combined with ice cream and peach cobbler means that my jeans were tight today. I probably better ease back on the food until I can run again.
