Big announcement...tomorrow night Eric and I will be leaving the house without any of our children! This will be our first date since the night before Cora was born...almost a year ago. Obviously, time alone without our kids is long overdue. My parents gave us a gift card for Valentines Day and made us promise that we will use it to go out alone. So, as soon as Cora is asleep for the night we will leave for dinner at the Kenyon Inn and then go across the street for coffee at Middle Ground. Our friends Justin and Cassandra are coming over to put the boys to bed and hang out at our house until we get back. I can't wait!
It was 60 degrees outside today! The kids and the chickens played outside in the sunshine this afternoon. Days like this are teasers and the hard part is that everyone gets excited for spring. It's hard to explain to the kids that the cold will come back. Trey asked if we could start planting seeds outside today and Evan asked me to get out his shorts and tank tops!
