The back to school pics are really coming, I promise (Jen!). The first school week ended well. Both boys have adjusted quickly. It took Trey a day or two longer than Riley, but they both seem settled in now. They love riding the bus, which I never would have let them do in Columbus. I still pick them up in the afternoon, but it sure is nice to still be in my pjs when they hop on the bus in the morning!

Evan had two good days of school this week. He really loves going and was more than ready for preschool. His teachers told me he did great and he's excited to go back next week. Friday he got in the car and said, "Mommy, I told all my new friends about the funny butt part in Diary of a Whimpy Kid." Awesome, parent teacher conferences could be interesting. This is the problem with having a preschooler with two older brothers. He also told me, "Mommy, you were so pretty when you came to pick me up today." Love that kid. Love him, love him.

Cora Jean is crazy. Seriously, she exhausts me. She is army crawling everywhere and she's fast. She is FULL of energy. It has been so much fun to have her alone in the afternoons while the boys are at school. I had completely forgotten what is was like to only have one child. She's still very unpredictable and I'm a little worried that this may just be her personality. The boys were on a much better schedule by this age. She'll sleep through the night one night and then be up twice the next night. She'll take a two hour morning nap one day, and then a half hour nap at the same time the next day. I'm hoping that she develops a rhythm this fall as our lives become more scheduled. However, I can only stay frustrated with her for about 30 seconds because she gives me this giant smile and I completely forget why I was frustrated.

Tomorrow we are going back to First Presbyterian in Mount Vernon. This will be our third Sunday there and we all love it. I'm amazed that we found a church that we are all excited about. It's good to feel like we have found a church home. Now we have a new house, new schools, a new job, a new child, and a new church. Slowly all six of us are adjusting.
