There are a lot of big things happening in our lives right now, but I just don't feel like writing about the heavy stuff right now. However, I'm always ready to write about Buckeye basketball.

Yesterday Evan and I went with my mom to the mall to finish some Christmas exchanges. We came home and mom helped me get my Christmas decorations packed up. We made dinner and by the time we were done with all of that my body was in some serious pain. The smart choice would have been to skip the Buckeye game last night. But, there was this rumor going around Columbus that Evan Turner may return and get some playing time and I just had to go. I was not disappointed! The Schott went crazy when the starting line up was announced. How this kid could have broken two vertebrae in his back on Dec. 5 and been ready to play last night amazes me. No, he was not completely himself, but he was back and his presence brought so much energy back to the team. I looked completely ridiculous trying to get down the steps after the game from section 307. My right leg was worthless and each step was painful. But, we made it, the Bucks won big against IU, and I was there for Evan Turner's comeback game. This will probably be my last game for a long time. I don't think I'll tackle the Schott steps again this season and next season there will be a little baby in the picture.

IT'S SNOWING!!!!! I'm really hoping for a snow day with my boys tomorrow.
