Our conversation this morning after breakfast...
Me: Trey, what was your favorite part of your field trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday?
Trey: Sleeping with Allison on the bus ride home. But, we were in the back of the bus so no one saw us.
So cute at age 5, won't be cute at all a few years from now. I went along on this trip, but parents took their own cars and kids were on the school buses. Maybe I'll start making him ride with me when he gets a little older!
MY HUSBAND IS HOME! He's been on a business trip for a week and we are all so happy to have him home. I missed him so much and so did the kids. I feel a little bad for the guy. He's exhausted, but all of us want his time and attention right now. Trey was already begging him to work on legos at 7:00 am. I'm not very good at legos, to say the least, so Trey couldn't wait for his daddy to get home. Plus, I need a break from the chickens. I have a love/hate relationship with those birds. I literally broke a sweat trying to chase them into their coop yesterday. More than all that though, I just missed my friend.
It sounds like everyone's feeling better- yay! I can't wait to hear your chicken story :)
