It's 9:50am and I'm eating a plate of nachos. I've entered the next phase of pregnancy. Now instead of being repulsed by any food, I want very specific foods and I want them immediately. Once I get something on my mind, I can't stop thinking about it. Two days ago I heard a commercial on the radio for El Vaquero and that's all it took. That night we had chicken nachos for dinner. Yesterday my mom was kind enough to take me to the awesome Mexican restaurant at the Lennox, can't remember the name right now. Now I'm eating nachos again before 10:00am. I'd pay big money for some nachos bellgrande from Taco Bell right now. Although it's good to enjoy food again, the weight gain possibilities are a little scary if I don't settle down a bit.
Last night I went to Trader Tots because I have absolutely nothing to wear. They carry a good amount of nice, used maternity clothes. A friend from Grandview was working and we chatted for a few minutes. She said the word El Vaquero, but if that wasn't bad enough she then mentioned margaritas. Now it's all I can think about. Any ideas for satisfying a margarita craving during pregnancy?
I'm supposed to be cleaning my house right now. We are still recovering from the camping mess. The good news is I have some energy to clean. We're in week 10 right now and I can feel myself slowing returning to normal. Back to work...
EDITED FIVE MINUTES LATER...
Well, apparently I'm not the only one and craving margaritas at 10 weeks is normal. The things you can find out so quickly on the internet. Also, this is supposed to mean I'm having a boy. Surprise, surprise. Sorry mom.
Guess we'll find out in a few months if this old wives tale is true or not. At least we already have a boy name picked out.
Say it isn't so. Oh well, another cute little boy won't be too hard to take. Just get some margarita mix and don't add the alcohol.
