My first doctor's appointment today, first ultrasound. We have one baby, one heart beat. I enjoyed getting to know my new doctor and the appointment went very well.

I brought the ultrasound pictures home and the boys were excited to see them. I think they were a little disappointed that the baby looks more like a little blob right now than a brother or sister. Evan's take on the pictures was very interesting. He looked at them and said, "What! You are having a panda?" Hmmm...ultrasound pictures through the eyes of a three year old.

I'm still feeling rough, but I need to find the energy to pack because we are going out of town to visit GG and Grandma Jan in NY on Friday. I'll be excited to get there and let the boys run and play. My house is a disaster and I can't seem to get it together right now. My parents are giving me a wonderful gift and having the house professionally cleaned while we are out of town. I can't wait to see it when we get back and I think it will help both Eric and I so much next week. I know I've completely worn my husband out over the last two weeks. He's stepped up in a such a huge way while I've been pretty useless around the house. A fresh start with the house will be very nice.
