I've had a lot of fun getting ready for the holiday season this year. On November 20th my mom and I went to dinner at Basi and then to see Harry Connick Jr. That started the season quite well this year. Then early in December my mom and I took off for Brown County, IN. I absolutely love Brown County, but this year I was more excited than ever. I realized when we were there why...Brown County is the polar opposite of Franklinton. It is quaint, peaceful, beautiful and quiet. It is Mayberry. We spent time wandering from shop to shop and enjoyed our lunch at the Hob Nob, always the highlight of a trip to Brown County. It was good to get away from the chaos of Franklinton for a bit. Here are a few pictures...

Trey also performed in his first Boulevard Preschool Christmas Program, but I can't figure out how to post the pictures my mom emailed to me. Trust me, he was really cute! Here are a couple of his birthday pictures that I haven't posted yet...
School is out for Christmas break for both of the older boys now. Trey was out last week as well. This week we're looking forward to the boys spending the night with Nana and Papaw on Monday, a Christmas party with the boy's friends on Tuesday night, and Christmas Eve in Franklinton at St. John's on Wednesday. Then we'll spend Christmas day in Gahanna with my family. Here's the tricky part of it though...we all have to get healthy first. I have a terrible head cold and Evan has been puking all night. We'll see what tomorrow brings, hopefully a lot of good rest.
