Here in Ohio we did not expect, nor were we ready, to face the lingering effects of Ike. Who knew it would bring us a wind storm like I've never seen before all the up here in Ohio? Tomorrow will be Riley's third day off school. 50 schools in Columbus Public are still without electricity. Just when we were starting to get into the swing of going back to school. The grocery store shelves are nearly empty and traffic lights at major intersections are still out. Luckily, we haven't lost our electricity. We are one of the few.

I would like to write more about my time this evening with women from our church. But, it's just too late. Maybe tomorrow. Still forming all my thoughts about it anyway.
