We celebrated Evan's birthday today. It's been two years since this little guy joined our family. It seems like we've made it through some really difficult times with him including a really rough fight with RSV and a nasty temper tantrum phase. Now, he is just a lot of fun. He likes to entertain us. For instance, Trey got a new knight costume today at the toy store. Tonight Riley, Trey and I sat on the porch swing watching Pickle, in full costume, use his sword to fight some imaginary dragons. I wish I had taken pictures because it was incredibly cute. He was truly trying to entertain us, he knew he was funny and he loved that we were laughing. He would fall over on the ground laughing at himself. Here's a few little things I want to write about the baby of our family. It's always good to have a record here.

He's very "spirited." That's the nice way of saying he is exhausting!

He loves Sesame Street, the Wiggles, and all of his brothers' action figures.

He loves his brothers and thinks he's every bit as big as them.

He loves to sing about his Light...may it always shine brightly.

He usually makes at least one trip to time out every day, usually for throwing something at one of us in complete frustration.

His vocabulary is coming along, slowly. He loves to talk about Captain Feathersword, Elmo, Ernie, and Oscar. He calls Riley "r" and Trey is "tay." He needs a translator everywhere he goes. Ha is Holly. Nen is Jen. Tucka is truck. He seems to be inventing his own language.

He's my baby.

Happy Birthday, Evan! Here's a few pictures from his party today.
