Eric just took the three little guys out for awhile, so it's quiet here. He's been gone for a few days, so it's really nice to have the house to myself without the boys. So, I haven't posted anything for a few weeks because things have been a little out of control. We are still living in Grandview, but only for a few more days. We are ready to move and get settled in Franklinton. We've been spending a lot more time there already because Riley has started t-ball in Franklinton, which has been a lot of fun. We've started using the library there as well instead of the Grandview library. It appears to be a community hub, it's been packed every time we are there. The place is packed with kids that are just waiting for a grown-up to pay attention to them. It's been really good to spend time there. We have had two previous closing dates, but the house wasn't finished on time. We are supposed to close tomorrow, but we aren't sure that is going to happen. We'll see. The problem is that a lot of our apartment has been packed for weeks now because of the original closing date. I'm so tired of all of the boxes. But, I know this will all be over soon and we can start adjusting to life in our new neighborhood.
The big news that happened since I last posted is that Ruby Dylan Redcay was born. She made a pretty dramatic entry and gave her parents and the rest of us a bit of a scare. But, after a few days at Children's Hospital she is at home where she should be, resting with her mommy. We are so excited to watch her grow and develop into a little person.
There is more to say...about my grandparents, thoughts about Franklinton, my boys...but I'm going to rest while the house is quiet and add more later.
You write very well.
