This quarter Eric has several really long days at school/work. This also means that the boys and I have several really long days. I decided at the beginning of the quarter that it would be a good idea to plan out my weeks, especially the long days, with some special things for us to do. Tuesdays are my favorite. Tuesdays we spend the day at Nana and Papaw's house. It's so easy for me to relax at my parent's house. The boys love being there, so the whining is minimal. I don't have to think about cleaning, running errands, or cooking dinner. More importantly, we get to hang out with my parents and Jen. I was telling Eric about our time there today and his response was, "Isn't family great!" Yep, my parents are great. They are giving it 100% in trying to understand us right now, which I know isn't always easy. They are choosing to be excited for us as we get ready to move to Franklinton, and I know they are praying hard for us. And, Jen's great too!
This Tuesday was even better because the boys and I spent the morning at the zoo. We saw a lot of animals, we were there for four hours. The boys agreed that the gorillas were their favorite. Evan was nose to nose with a huge gorilla. It's fun to watch Evan enjoy the zoo too as his personality begins to develop. He also loved the aquarium. Columbus has so many great places to take your kids, we are so lucky. We buy year long passes and it makes it such a good deal.

84 and sunny, the morning at the zoo, the afternoon at Nana and Papaw's, happy and tired little boys. A good day.
