School is closed because it's so cold. It's nice that I don't have to bundle up the kids and take them out in this weather, especially since Evan has a cold. But, Riley was out of school last Thursday and Friday because of conferences and I feel like we've been stuck in this house for a really long time now. Winter in Ohio...

Evan will be 8 months old this week. He started crawling yesterday. He had been crawling backwards for a few weeks now, he finally figured out how to move forwards. He's into everything and is suddenly a lot harder to keep track of. His brothers don't know how they feel about the baby being mobile now, he's into all of their toys in the basement. We've had to lower his crib mattress as well because Eric found him standing up in bed. He's trying to pull up on everything and everyone. He's had a cold for the last 5 days. Luckily we own the breathing treatment machine and we can pull it out whenever we need it. Hopefully this will pass before it becomes an infection.

Mom, Dad, Bill, Maureen, Rachel, Gabe, Grandpa and Grandma Stetler....I love you all, but I'm really jealous that all of you are in a much warmer place today and I'm freezing. Think of me and the boys wandering around the house while you enjoy life at the beach!!! Flip flops, shorts, sun, sand...slippers, wool socks, flannel pj pants, gray clouds, frozen ground. oh well.
