It's been a week...a very long week. Evan is a sick little boy. None of my kids have ever been this sick for this long. Last Thursday I took him to the doctor and he has RSV. He's on breathing treatments three times a day and an antibiotic. He has trouble nursing and sleeping because he's having such a hard time breathing. Eric read on the internet that it lasts 8-15 days. We're on day 7, so I'm really hoping he starts to improve soon. It's been emotionally and physically draining for all of us.
This morning Riley almost got hit by a car. The car had to slam on it's breaks...so scary. My nerves are still on edge. I yelled at Riley, loud. I need to sit down and apologize to him when he gets home from school. I wasn't angry at him, I was just so scared.
The responsibility of keeping these three boys safe, healthy, and happy is a really difficult job some days.
On a lighter note, Ty Pennington is in town. Extreme Home Makeover is working on a house in Whitehall. My mom, Jen, and I are going to try and catch a glimpse of him. I'm a big fan.
Ooooooooooh, Ty. Lucky you.
I will be praying for Evan and your other boys. So glad to to hear that Riley is safe. I'll also be praying for their great parents. ]

Thank God for His protection over Riley. We will pray for Evan tonight and trust that he is healed by the blood of Jesus. We will also pray for a restful night for all of you, and for supernatural energy!
