We spent the weekend at Delaware State Park camping with the kids. All five of us in my in-law's pop-up camper. It was great! I was really nervous before we went, but we had so much fun with the boys. Campfires, smores, veggie dogs, a hike through the woods...the first of many Stetler family camping trips. Unfortunately we came home and things went a little crazy. I took Evan to urgent care because he suddenly had a really nasty cough. The electricity went out for the afternoon and then Trey woke up in the middle of the night with a fever. So, we'll spend the next few days trying to get everyone healthy again.
Evan is four months old now. Riley and Trey were on much more of a schedule at this age, but I guess that's how it goes when you have to drag the third baby along to all of the other boys activities. I keep telling myself that we'll find a good schedule soon. The main problem is that he isn't sleeping well. I call him "Peanut." He's a little squirt. I had him weighed at urgent care yesterday, 13 pounds. His brothers were much bigger at four months. He loves to growl. He has a happy growl and an angry growl. He's a little spoiled...he gets held most of the time and lets you know if it's been too long since you've talked to him.
I feel like the five of us are really learning what it means to be a family right now. It's hard to explain...but it's how I feel right now.

everytime you post it sounds so familiar. :) except you're twice the woman i am going camping! wow!

we never did end up pulling off our trip to the park. oh well. if ever two people could have grace for each other.... :)

i'd still love to get together but we're still finding a schedule too... maybe when we are all in a routine it'll come together.

I'm so jealous - I couldn't convince my husband he would love camping like that.

Please check with Eric - I sent a comment to his blog - I need to get in touch with his farm as we'd love to order some meat and a turkey for thanksgiving!

Sounds like Evan will be built a bit more like his mom! That's ok, too, you're just as pretty as Eric!

:) Love, MA B

Kerri,
We're planning to camp next spring with Seth's cub scout den, and I hope they have as much fun as you have had!
I am eager to talk with you and Eric, but I don't think I have the correct phone number for you. Please email it to me and we'll get caught up. Thanks!
