Evan was a week old yesterday. He had his first appointment with Dr. Hua. The boys love Dr. Hua, so of course they had to come along too. All five of us made the trip and it actually went well. The boys were proud to introduce their new baby brother to their doctor and everything checked out great with Evan. He's up over his birth weight. He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and measured 21 inches long. After the visit we stopped at my grandparent's house so they could meet their new great-grandson for the first time.
The week has gone incredibly well. I'm feeling great and healing quickly. My emotions have been steady and I've actually gotten quite a bit of rest. I'm giving a ton of credit for my quick recovery to Juice Plus. I've recovered from a c-section without Juice Plus, and although it was fine, it was nothing like this. Eric has been an amazing husband and daddy all week. He's taken such good care of all of us. I haven't had to really face reality yet, I've just been hanging out upstairs with Evan and resting. He's been an incredible chef, a great house keeper, and given Riley and Trey a ton of much needed attention. My breakfast is waiting on my nightstand when I wake up and there's usually a load of laundry already on the clothesline outside before I get a shower. Basically, he's spoiled me all week. I know he's the real reason we are all doing so well. Riley and Trey are camping with his parents this weekend and giving Eric a well deserved break. I just talked to Riley on the phone tonight and he's having a blast camping with his Mimi and Pop Pop. The big news is that he's learned to ride his bike without his training wheels! I can't wait to see!
Glad to hear that you had a good week. You're selling me on this Juice Plus.
