I feel like hibernating for the most part lately. Last night I slept really well for the first time in a few days, so I do feel much more like myself this morning. But, after the necessary running around is done for the day--taking Riley to school, grocery shopping, etc.--I basically feel like hibernating. I did spend much of yesterday at my parents and the change of scenery was good for me. My mom is back in town after being gone most of the last two weeks and I'm so glad she going to stay home for now. She's my friend and I missed her. My dad is basically one of my favorite people in the world. They let me hibernate at their house too, in fact they even take care of the kids and bring me ice cream while I rest! My husband has been pretty amazing as well. He took the boys to the park yesterday morning while I went to the grocery by myself. When you are used to grocery shopping with two kids, it's a really special treat to get to go by yourself! I know there have to be times like yesterday morning when he's not sure how to deal with me. On the way home from the park they stopped at Blooms Direct to buy me flowers. They are beautiful! It is a big relief to wake up feeling like I slept well and am ready for today. Your Baby: Your baby is getting plump. The fat deposits are now beginning to offer form and fullness to your baby’s legs and arms. Your baby is taking up most of the room in your uterus, so there is a lot less room to move around. Also, your baby’s lungs are now completely developed and producing what is called "surfactant", a substance that helps in the exchange of oxygen in the lungs. Your baby is now approximately 18 inches long and weighs about five pounds. If you were to have your premature baby now, you'd be happy to know that there is a 99 percent chance of the baby surviving.
It was so good to see you all and I am so glad to hear you had a restful night. I love you
