Back from Pittsburgh. Becky and I met on Friday evening and had a great two days just spending time together. We did a lot of shopping, the major purchase being new bunk beds and bedroom furniture for Riley and Trey at IKEA. We ate some good food, watched a movie at the hotel and were able have grown up conversation for two whole days. Becky, thank you for the gift of your time this weekend. I needed the time away and am so incredibly grateful for your friendship.
Thanks to Eric, Mike and Jen the bunk beds were put together quickly and Riley was able to sleep in his new bed last night. The boys had a fight this morning over the "theme" for their new room. Who knew Trey was old enough to have an opinion? He is, so the room will have Spiderman and Thomas the Train in it. My idea was outer space but the boys didn't seem to care about my opinion. At least I still get to decorate the new nursery.
Riley is at his Halloween party at school. Trey and I stayed for the parade, he was so excited. Tonight is trick or treat. A lot of excitement in one day for two little boys. I'm preparing for a complete melt down around bed time.
That's about all the excitement at the Stetler house today.
i was going to tell you to make sure you took pictures of the boys but
1. i don't even have to tell you because you already will
2. with the time difference, the boys are probably already sleeping.
