The mind is a powerful. Simply choosing to be positive has made a huge difference in my day. I woke up tired, really tired. Both kids crashed hard last night while wrestling. Thankfully both of them are okay, but it really scared me. Then I was up late working and had a rough time with Trey in the middle of the night. This morning he woke up feeling worse, snot everywhere and grumpy. I was in the shower when panic started to fill my mind. Micah would be here in about an hour, Trey was sick, I'm tired...I have a tendency to dwell on these kind of thoughts and slowly spiral out of control. Then I realized how absolutely ridiculous this was and started to settle down and pray. The morning has gone incredibly well. Micah and Riley have been best buddies all morning, playing well together. Trey got some rest this morning, I'm hoping it's just allergies. A good morning. And the best is yet to come, Eric will be home in about two hours from work.
The count down has begun, five days until I head to Pittsburgh to see Becky. Just a day trip this time, but what a treat that she's close enough for us to meet half way just for a day. Eric's keeping the kids all day, Happy Mother's Day to me!
