I haven't been in school for quite some time now, I graduated from high school almost 10 years ago. But for some reason I still love snow days. I love checking the window every five minutes to see how the snow is accumulating. I love deciding to stay inside where it's warm and cozy, settling into the house for the day. I guess it comes from all those years of hoping that school would be cancelled for the day. Of course being shut in quickly gets old. But it's always fun the first time.
Today I won't be able to stay in all day, unless the weather demands that I do. I have a few last minute Christmas errands after Eric gets home from work.
I spent the morning at my parents yesterday with my cousins. Riley thinks they are the best. He had so much fun running around with the two little ones. They are trying to get settled. What a crazy Christmas for them. My parents house doesn't feel as crowded as I thought it would. That's probably because my mom has this incredible gift for making room for people in her home. Dad is home from his business trip. He usually doesn't work the week before Christmas, but he had to some this week. He's home now and Christmas can officially begin.
happy snow day everyone!
Kerri I know how that feels waiting and waiting so much thicker. I had a lot of fun with wendsenday. It feels so diffrent to me than to you though.
