A great day at the zoo with my boys and my mom. It felt like we were the only ones there. It was very relaxing. Trey noticed the animals more than he ever has. He loved the fish in the aquarium.
A great night at home. Dinner with Mike--Lianne and Kelli came over later. The boys were extremely tired from the zoo, so dinner was a little crazy.
I'm exhausted. I think I'm extremely tired from the zoo as well.
I leave for Pittsburgh to meet Becky on Friday afternoon. I don't really know how to describe my friendship with Becky. I value and cherish it more than I can explain. We only see each other once a year or so, but the distance doesn't really seem to matter or alter our relationship. Of course I wish I could see her more often, every day would be great! But, when we are together it seems like no time has past since we were together last. It is the kind of friendship that may only happen once in a life time, and to have even one friendship in a lifetime as genuine as ours is a true gift. We will be staying at the Marriot in downtown Pittsburgh, which looks pretty amazing from the web page. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I'll miss my boys, all three of them, a ton. At the same time I know it is so good for me to get away.
Good night.
