Just got back from a night at the Ohio State Fair with my mom and some good Gahanna friends. I miss them, I didn't realize how much until tonight. We laughed a lot and ate a lot. Deep fried cheese and deep fried snickers, it doesn't get any better than that. Katie, Al, Sharon, and I raced down the giant slide. I lost, almost fell off my burlap sack, and was inches from colliding with a kid at the bottom of the slide. We all rode the giant ferris wheel together. We watched them show horses, to me there is something magical about that. Good times.
Some of the best news I've heard in a long time--Palmer and Amy will be married in November. I'm very thankful that I've been given the opportunity to get to know both of them better lately.
Three years ago I was bringing my first baby home from the hospital. Today my baby finger painted for the first time. He loved it. I love him, more than I can express. Our home changed drastically three years ago. I can't imagine our home without him.
A busy day tomorrow, time to get ready for our trip to the cottage and finish up my work for dad for the week.
Good night.
The simplest things bring the most pleasure. I had so much fun, thanks for inviting me!!
